About

I think my passion for video editing started in middle school when I (for fun) filmed and edited a music video for Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone.” I cut together videos of me lip syncing to the song in different parts of my room. I was so proud of it, even though I knew I was not destined for stardom.

In high school my best friend dragged me to a meeting for something called the “Bolt Broadcast,” which was my school’s video broadcast. I was annoyed we were spending our lunch in a classroom. Little did I know that a couple years later I would become the Executive Director of the broadcast. We participated in a 24 hour music video challenge and a 48 hour short film challenge. And we actually ended up winning the 24!

After college, I moved to the Bay Area and began my career in post-production. I’m lucky to have worked on Proactiv, Abbott, and Constant Contact commercials.

I just completed a contract at Lucasfilm, where I worked on the Video Asset Team. I logged assets for current and legacy films, which included intensive and detailed metadata to be used in the Avid Cloud UX system and transferred over to Lucasfilm’s proprietary DAM system.
